Fairway to Heaven Presents 2019 Gift to LeaderKids Fort Worth

On behalf of the board of directors of Fairway to Heaven, I’m pleased to announce our 2019 gift of $42,500 to LeaderKids Fort Worth.   LeaderKids is a Leadership Fort Worth program in partnership with FWISD, serving a select group of fifty-two (52) 8th grade students every year. They strive to cultivate youth community leadership aiming for higher achievement in school and life.

Executive Director of Leadership Fort Worth, Harriet Harral, summed up her experience with Fairway to Heaven and our 2019 tournament:

“Just want to say again how amazing you all are! From the very concept of this tournament to every single detail, it was wonderful. It was a joy to be on the course and get to interact with all the golfers who were uniformly delighted to be playing, appreciating the cause, and having a great time!

We were thrilled to be a part of it and so honored by your selection of LeaderKids as beneficiary.

2018 Gift to Focus on Teens

On behalf of the board of Fairway to Heaven, I’m thrilled to announce our 2018 gift to Focus on Teens. Making a difference in the lives of homeless children in the Fort Worth ISD is essential to the values and commitment of our organization, which was created to help other non-profits with their fundraising goals. In our second year of operation we’ve already increased our fundraising capability by 11 percent.

Focus on Teens, working with the FWISD, provides items such as nonperishable food, school supplies, hygiene products, infant care needs and uniforms, among other needs.

Fairway to Heaven is one of a very few organizations in Tarrant County focused on helping non-profits raise funds to benefit the needy in its community. Its mission is to be a serious non-profit fundraising organization while having fun playing golf for the benefit of others. Minus golf event expenses, all proceeds go to its annual recipients. This year’s golf tournament was held at the Mira Vista Country Club on October 22nd. The 2017 recipient was the Young Women’s Leadership Academy’s, which actively encourages college success and leadership contributions in the future.

Successful Inaugural Event

Fairway to Heaven’s inaugural charity golf tournament was a huge success. Twenty two teams came together on a beautiful Texas day to support our first beneficiary – the Foundation for the Young Women’s Leadership Academy (YWLA).  Participants played the course at Mira Vista Country Club, followed by dinner provided by Del Frisco’s Steakhouse.  The day ended with two of the YWLA’s students sharing their heartfelt stories and thanks.
